Cottonwood Hills Golf Course is a Public, 27 hole golf facility located in Bozeman, Montana. The Cottonwood Golf complex has an 18 hole course, The Championship Course, a nine-hole Par-3 Course, and practice facilities.
Established in 1984, Cottonwood Hills Golf Club is the Gallatin Valley's first and foremost public golf facility. The golf course was initially built as a nine-hole facility and later expanded to a full Championship 18. During the expansion in 1994, the Club made a brilliant decision to move the driving range to the north of the parking lot and construct The Par 3 Course where the previous range was.
If the Championship course's 6,971-yard length and rating of 1.6 strokes over par and a slope of 137 are not enough, here are some of the features to look forward to. Three holes conclude within an amphitheater of cottonwood trees that tower over 100 feet. All players must face water hazards that come into play on two-thirds of the holes. Even the numerous sand bunkers require an entire repertoire of shot-making ability, from the casual fairway bunker to the high-lipped pot bunkers.
